These are master classes and while they will be working on skills needed for the auditions, they will not be learning exact combinations required during the audition. 

These workshops are perfect for 1st time audition participants or current Company members who want the extra technique. 

Minis (2nd-5th Grade) Ballet, Tap & Jazz:

Open to dancers entering 2nd-5th grade for the 2025-2026 dance season.

Location: CDA II (230 Elm St. Cumming)

$30.00 registration fee. $5.00 discount for each additional workshop. Your card on file will automatically be charged once registration is received.

JAZZ Mini Workshop: March 29th: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

TAP Mini Workshop: April 11th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

BALLET Mini Workshop: May 3rd 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

MIDDLE school WORKSHOPS

Open to dancers entering 6th-8th grade for the 2025-2026 dance season.

HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ WORKSHOP: March 29th 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

HIGH SCHOOL TAP WORKSHOP: March 22nd 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Audition Day 1:

• Middle/High School:  Dancers will learn combinations for the required styles of:  Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical/Contemporary.  (No judge present)

• Mini’s:  Dancers will learn combinations for required styles of:  Ballet, Jazz, and Tap.  (No judge present)

• A Hip Hop combination will be taught for those wishing to audition to compete in the Hip Hop genre. (See more details below)

AUDITION DAY 2:

• All dancers will quickly review the combinations and perform them for our Company instructors and one outside Judge.  

• Judges and Company Instructors will be looking for how quickly the dancers pick up the choreography given the day before and evaluating all technique components of the dancer.

HIP HOP AUDITION:

Middle/High school dancers who are interested in participating in a Hip Hop Competition routine will need to learn and audition with the Hip Hop combo. 

Dancers who do not audition in the Hip Hop genre, will not be eligible in the Hip Hop competition routine. 

If you are interested in the Hip Hop routine, it is a part of the two days. If not, Hip Hop is not required, and you can leave early from the audition.
