Donna Hyder

Studio Manager & Company Tap Instructor

Donna Hyder grew up in Northern Virginia and started dancing at age 3. She trained locally at studios and traveled to conventions around the country. Over the past 35 years, she has trained in jazz, tap, ballet, and lyrical. Donna was a performer in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC and the Millenium New Years Day parade in Paris, France. She began her teaching career 20 years ago at The Joan Izzo Academy of Dance in Chantilly, Virginia, where she was the head of the jazz and tap departments as well as creator and director of their holiday showcase. Donna spent several years dancing professionally with a jazz company based in Washington, DC before getting married and moving to Georgia. She lives in Cumming with her husband and two children, Casey and Austin.
