Brennan Byrd Paulson

Brennan Byrd Paulson began her training at the age of 3 at Tri-County Clogging in Rossville, Georgia. She was clogging queen 3 years running and competed at Disney with her show choir. She later moved to Cumming, Georgia, where she trained under Niki Jernigan Watkins at Cumming Dance Academy. She is trained in ballet, tap, clogging, hip hop, jazz, pom, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. Brennan was a charter member of CDA’s Elite Senior Company and performed at many local competitions. She was also a member and captain of the Forsyth Central Dance Dawgs. Brennan has worked closely with Miss Niki for years, being an assistant in the office and the studio throughout her time as a CDA dancer.
Brennan is a graduate of Valdosta State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with Magna Cum Laude Honors. While at VSU she has been a part of the 8 time national championship Red Hots Dance Team where she competed at NDA Nationals and placed 1st in both the hip hop and open division. She held the positions of Finance Vice President, Scholarship, and Finance Assistant in her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. She performed closely with the VSU Repertory Dancers in shows like Damn Yankees, Sleeping Beauty, and an original solo choregraphed by Eric Nielson at GAHPERD Dance Convention. Brennan has choreographed her sorority step show and returned to CDA throughout her college years to help with the End of Season Performances, open houses, and master classes.
In addition to being an instructor and choreographer, Brennan is the Company Director for CDA’s competition dance team.
