SWERVE EFFECTS COMPETITION HIP HOP CREW

SWERVE Effects Hip Hop CREW is CDA’s competitive hip hop team. This Crew competes at three competitions every season, attends a hip hop convention, and has the opportunity to travel to nationals over the summer! In addition, Swerve performs at several different professional sporting events and the annual Jazz On Tap festival. Team members are in middle and high school and are required to take weekly Hip Hop and Jazz technique class in addition to their weekly Swerve Effects rehearsal. Auditions are held near the end of the school year. SWERVE is directed by Miss Jenelle Lovell.

SWAG ATTACK HIP HOP CREW

SWAG Attack Hip Hop Crew is for dancers in 2nd-5th grade. To be eligible to participate in the SWAG Attack Crew, dancers must be enrolled in both Hip Hop and Jazz technique class and be available for one additional hour of Swag Attack rehearsal per week. Swag Attack members require an audition. SWAG competes at 2-3 competitions a season and attends a Hip Hop dance convention to learn from some of the best choreographers in the industry. They also perform at several different professional sporting events and at the annual Jazz on Tap festival. SWAG is directed by Miss Jenelle Lovell.
