Lindsey Meyer, North Office Staff
Lindsey has over 27 years of dance experience in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, and contemporary. Lindsey began dancing at the age of 3 at the Asheville Center of Performing Arts. Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Arts with a Concentration in Dance Performance and Technique from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She performed for the Asheville City Ballet, Greensboro Ballet, and Charleston Ballet Theatre. She has taught dance for over 10 years at studios across North Carolina. For seven years she danced for Disney Entertainment in Orlando, Florida. While working at Disney, Lindsey performed in multiple performances, shows, and parades. She is currently the Director of Dance at Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia. Lindsey has worked closely with the Special Education program at Parkview High School and is developing dance programs and instruction for students with special needs. Lindsey is excited to share her love of dance and technique with her students and instill in them a passion for the art of dance. In the Fall of 2015, Lindsey introduced CDA’s first official Special Needs program, Alternative Pathways.
