costume requirements

BALLET COSTUME:

Ballet Hair: Slicked back bun in the middle of the back of the head. (Not on top of the head)

Ballet Tights: CDA’s theatrical pink convertible tights

Ballet Shoes: Pink leather ballet shoes with ties tucked inside

TAP COSTUME:

Tap Hair: Slicked back bun in the middle of the back of the head. (same as Ballet)

Tap Tights: CDA’s tan convertible tights (combo classes require two different color tights)

Tap Shoes: Tan leather buckle tap shoes

JAZZ COSTUME:

Jazz Hair: Slicked back bun in the middle of the back of the head.

Jazz Tights: CDA’s tan convertible tights

Jazz Shoes: Tan leather slip on jazz shoes

hip hop COSTUME:

Hip Hop Hair: Slicked back bun in the middle of the back of the head, unless instructed otherwise

Hip Hop Tights: not required

Hip Hop Shoes: white sneakers

irish COSTUME:

Irish Hair: Slicked back bun in the middle of the back of the head.

Irish Tights: CDA’s black Irish tights

Irish Shoes: Black lace Irish soft ghillie or hard shoe

lyrical or contemporary COSTUME:

Lyrical Hair: Slicked back bun in the middle of the back of the head.

Lyrical Tights: CDA’s tan convertible tights

Lyrical Shoes: Half sole lyrical shoe

ACRO COSTUME:

ACRO Hair: Slicked back bun in the middle of the back of the head.

ACRO Tights:

Miss Tammi’s Classes: CDA’s tan convertible tights

Miss Amber’s Classes: no tights

ACRO Shoes: Barefoot

NOTE FOR ALL COSTUMES:

Absolutely no jewelry, hair accessories, or nail polish, please. If costume requires a headpiece, it will be secured on the right side of the dancer’s head or around the bun as notated.
