Ansley Head was born in Social Circle, Georgia and began her dance training with Jaime Robtison at Mainstream Dance and Covington Regional Ballet, where she performed at Balletfest Atlanta and Disney World.  During her training, Ansley was fortunate enough to perform roles such as Dew Drop Fairy in The Nutcracker and the Little Mermaid in The Little Mermaid.  During her summers, Ansley attended a condensed version of what is now known as Summer Dance Company in Atlanta, Georgia.  Upon graduating high school, she trained with Chattanooga Ballet for one year.  In 2012, Ansley was accepted into Kennesaw State University’s Department of Dance.  While there, she trained with Momchil Mladenov, Mara Mandradjieff, Carolyn Perry, and Christen Weimer Tate. Ansley performed with the KSU Dance Company for four semesters in notable pieces such as Roadkill, choreographed by Ivan Pulinkala, the chair of the department of Dance at KSU.  Ansley received the Outstanding Dance Student scholarship at Kennesaw State University in Spring 2013.  She performed professionally while at KSU as Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker.  Ansley is now a student at University of North Georgia, pursuing her doctorate in Physical Therapy.  She is excited to begin teaching at CDA Dawsonville, sharing her love and passion for dance.
